- Conducted feasibility study of frequency-domain phase rotation beamforming in hardware applications and performance comparison with traditional time-domain beamforming.

- Analyzed and implemented a hardware delay-and-sum beamformer.
Kilby Labs Research (Intern) ~ Texas Instruments Inc. [June - August 2010]
- Proposed and implemented a method to simulate building energy usage with different energy monitoring and reduction schemes to study the effect of spatial and temporal sampling of sensor data on overall system.
Hardware Systems Engineer (Intern) ~ Broadcom Canada Ltd. [May - August 2007]
- Designed (using Allegro Design Entry CIS) and prototyped a reverse-polarity-protected interfacing circuit board.
- Performed power consumption measurements on evaluation boards under varying test conditions.

- Designed and implemented an embedded driver in C and a graphical user interface in Python for a NAND flash memory validation system.

- Recommended and executed upgrades to improve functionalities, implement new features, and optimize in usability.
- Independently authored and maintained a multi-document user and integration guide deliverable to internal customers of the user interface application; illustrated GUI and embedded software components in PowerPoint presentations delivered via NetMeeting and in person.

- Implemented standalone tools in Visual C# to complement an existing game testing framework.
